Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vijayasri Matrimony handles personal and matrimonial information provided by customers, families and representatives.

Effective: 1 September 2026 | Version 1.0

1. Scope and Privacy Commitment

Vijayasri Matrimony is a registered proprietorship providing privacy-conscious matrimonial services. This Policy applies to the website, registration, customer support, profile handling, matching, membership and related communications.

Matrimonial records can contain sensitive personal, family, contact, photograph, horoscope, financial and preference information. We aim to collect only information relevant to the service and to handle it with discretion, reasonable security and controlled access.

2. Information We May Collect

We may collect identity and contact data; date and place of birth; gender; marital status; religion, caste or community and mother tongue; education, occupation and location; family and sibling information; lifestyle, partner preferences and horoscope details; photographs and biodata documents; membership, payment-reference and support records; and account, security and technical data.

Please do not provide information that is unnecessary for the matrimonial service. Payment cards, passwords, OTPs and unrelated confidential documents should never be sent to staff or other customers.

3. Source, Authority and Voluntary Submission

Information is generally provided voluntarily by the customer or by an authorised parent, sibling, relative or representative. The person submitting information confirms that it is accurate and that they have authority to provide it for the matrimonial purpose.

Information may also arise from account activity, service communications, profile review, match responses, payment confirmation and security logs required to operate the service.

4. Purposes of Use

We use information to register and secure accounts; verify email and profile details; prepare and review biodata; understand preferences; identify and share relevant prospects; coordinate family communication; manage membership and payments; respond to support and grievances; prevent misuse; maintain records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell matrimonial data or use it for unrelated public advertising. On eligible public content pages, privacy-limited Google Analytics 4 may be used only after the visitor accepts optional analytics. It is not loaded on registration, sign-in, dashboard, administration, private profile or profile-photo routes, and we do not send form values, profile identifiers, email addresses, phone numbers, URL query strings or URL fragments to Google Analytics. Google Search Console is used to verify the public website, submit the sitemap and understand search visibility; it does not require an Analytics tag on visitor pages.

5. Profile Visibility and Prospective-Customer Sharing

Limited profile highlights may be displayed on controlled public or account pages. Complete biodata, private photographs, contact details, documents, family details and internal notes are not intended for unrestricted public access.

Customer profile details may be shared with relevant prospective customers or their families solely for matrimonial purposes and according to suitability, membership, mutual interest, family comfort, staff review and privacy controls. A recipient must not reuse or redistribute that information for another purpose.

6. Staff, Service Providers and Legal Disclosures

Authorised staff may access information only as required for profile administration, verification, matching, payments, support, security and legal compliance. Technical, hosting, email, communication or professional service providers may process limited information where necessary to support these functions and should be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security expectations.

Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a lawful order, the protection of customers or staff, fraud prevention, the establishment or defence of legal claims, or a business reorganisation that lawfully preserves applicable protections.

7. Photographs, Documents and Payment Records

Photographs, biodata, identity or supporting documents are used only for appropriate profile, verification and service activity. Customers should submit only what is requested and should conceal unnecessary identifiers where possible.

We may retain transaction references and payment proofs for membership activation, reconciliation, dispute handling and legal records. The public website does not require customers to disclose full card credentials.

8. Third-Party Services and Google Maps

The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map so visitors can view the business location, zoom and request directions. Loading or interacting with the map may send technical data such as IP address, device or browser information to Google and may involve Google's cookies or privacy practices.

Links or actions may also open WhatsApp, a phone dialler, email, banking or payment applications. These external services are independently controlled, and customers should review their privacy settings and terms.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the service, including authenticated accounts, role-based access, secure sessions, form protection and controlled profile workflows. Access credentials and OTPs must be kept confidential.

No website or transmission is completely risk-free. Customers should promptly report suspected unauthorised access, impersonation, misuse or disclosure.

10. Retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for active matching, account and membership administration, customer support, payment and tax records, fraud prevention, dispute handling, backup continuity and applicable legal obligations.

When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymised or securely isolated according to operational and legal requirements. A closed profile may still have limited records retained where necessary to protect rights or meet a legal obligation.

11. Customer Choices and Requests

A customer may request access, correction, profile closure, deletion or withdrawal of consent, or may raise a grievance, by contacting support@vijayasrimatrimony.com or 7416958887 and providing sufficient information to verify the account.

A request may affect or end the service and may be limited where retention or processing is required by law, security, payment records, dispute resolution or the rights of another person. We will explain the practical outcome after verifying the request.

12. Children's Data and Matrimonial Eligibility

The service is not intended to create matrimonial profiles for persons who are not legally eligible to marry. If we learn that an ineligible person's profile has been submitted, we may restrict the profile and request verification or deletion.

13. Grievances, Updates and Contact

Privacy questions or grievances should be sent to support@vijayasrimatrimony.com with the registered profile details and a clear description. Support hours are 10 AM to 6 PM, with Sundays and festival holidays closed.

This Policy may be updated when law, services or technology change. The current version and effective date will remain displayed. Nothing in this Policy limits a right or remedy that cannot be limited under applicable law.
