Policy
This Policy explains membership activation, cancellation requests, non-refundable service work and the review of exceptional payment issues.
Membership fees cover the selected combination of account access, profile handling, biodata review, verification effort, matching and shortlist work, staff follow-up, contact facilitation, NRI or confidential assistance and related administration. Fees are for service effort and access, not for a guaranteed marriage outcome.
A payment is confirmed only after Vijayasri Matrimony verifies the transaction. A plan is activated when payment is confirmed and the business begins any plan-related activity, including profile review, data entry, shortlist work, matching, follow-up, profile sharing or customer coordination.
Customers should keep the payment reference and provide accurate registered-account details. Failed, incomplete, duplicate, incorrect-recipient or untraceable payments require manual review.
A written cancellation request received before payment confirmation and before any service activity begins may be reviewed. If approved, unavoidable bank, gateway or transaction charges may be deducted.
A duplicate payment or a verified payment made in error should be reported promptly with supporting proof so that it can be reconciled.
Once a plan is activated or service work begins, the membership fee is generally non-refundable because time, access and operational resources have already been allocated.
No refund is ordinarily due merely because a customer changes their mind; dislikes or rejects profiles; receives no reply or acceptance; does not complete or update their profile; becomes unavailable; delays communication; independently finds a match; disputes horoscope or family suitability; expects more profiles than the plan or available pool permits; or does not achieve engagement or marriage.
A suspension or termination caused by false information, impersonation, harassment, prohibited conduct, non-cooperation, misuse of another profile, unauthorised redistribution or another breach of the Terms does not create an automatic refund right.
Matching depends on personal choice, family requirements, timing, availability, location, communication, verification and mutual consent. Registration or payment does not guarantee a minimum response, meeting, acceptance, engagement or marriage unless a specific written plan expressly states a measurable deliverable.
A verified duplicate payment, material billing error, failure to activate a paid service, or another exceptional circumstance may be reviewed on its facts. A practical resolution may include correction, service extension, plan adjustment, partial refund or full refund, depending on work already performed and applicable law.
Any extension or concession is discretionary and case-specific and does not create a general entitlement or precedent.

Requests should be raised promptly. We may ask for additional verification and will respond within a reasonable period based on the facts and payment channel.
An approved refund will ordinarily be sent to the verified original payment source or another verified method where required. Bank or gateway processing time is outside our direct control. The customer will be informed of any approved deduction and the expected process.
Nothing in this Policy excludes a refund, consumer remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. This Policy must be read with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
